The New Look of ORLY and Best of ORLY Collection

Hello Beauties! Today, I'm going to share with you ORLY's new look and their not so new collection. It is "The Best of ORLY".

I will first start with the new look.

This is how we know ORLY. Silver grey writing, with the big O logo.

And this is how we will see them now:

I suppose it isn't to bad. I do admit, I like the original look a bit better though. It has the same rubber grip handle but in black instead of grey.

Now onto the colors in this collection. As the name implies, these are colors from previous/permanent  collections.

Liquid Vinyl. A creme black with a nice on it's own shine. From Orly Designer Nail Polish Collection.

Dazzle. A metallic silver polish with shimmery giltter. This is from the Back to School Collection.

Naughty. This is a very dark burgandy creme that has a jelly like finish. Sadly my camera couldn't pick up the beautiful color in the swatch, but you can see the burgundy in the bottle pic. This is in Orly's permanent line.

Cotton Candy. Just as the name implies, a cotton candy pink creme. It was in the I Heart Nails Collection.

Coffee Break. This is a nice creme taupe color. This is a part of Orly's permanent line.

Passion Fruit. Is a bright vivid pink creme with a jelly-like finish. Also found in the I Heart Nails Collection.

So, what do you think of the new look of ORLY? And what do you think of their picks for the best? Do you own any of these colors?

Thanks so much for stopping by!

My Zoya's Color Your World Promotion Order

Hello Beauties! Some of you may have heard that Zoya was having an amazing promotion. From January 7-13th, Zoya very generously had a "Get 3 Free" promotion!!!! And today, I received my three free polishes!

BAM!!

They included a booklet with all the wonderfully beautiful colors they offer!

My first and most favorite color is this gorgeous blue. I am in love with this color! It is described on their site as a "medium steel blue, with a softened, dusty look and speckled gold and silver flecks."

The second polish I chose with Opal. As you can see it has gorgeous sheer green base with green and blue flecks. It is a top coat that will add sparkle to any polish. I plan on pairing it with a black to really make the flecks pop!

My third polish is this beautiful white called Purity. It is a bright, crisp white that is a glossy creme. It came in just in time, since I used up the last of my older white polish.

Did you take advantage of this great promotion? What polishes did you choose?

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

A Few of My Favorite Things Part 1: Blushes

Hello Beauties! I have so many favorites in my makeup collection. So, I decided I should break them down by category and do a series. This will be six part series, starting off with today's favorites! Blushes!

In no particular order:

Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush in Rose Petal.
I have a couple of the dream mousse blushes, but I really enjoy this color. I tend to use this more for minimum makeup days to add a flush of color to my face. It is a whipped mousse that is easy to apply and is totally build-able. it is a soft pale pink and a lot of these blushes have a shimmer to them. I do believe these have been discontinued, but can still be found on ebay and possibly Amazon.

Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Peach Satin.
I know many people have expressed their dislike for these little guys, but I can't say I am one of them. I truely like these blushes. They are do go on lightly, but are build-able to enhance color payoff. I love the texture of this blush, and the more I use it the creamier it has gotten. An application lasts me through my day, and I just flat out love them!

bareMinerals in Glee
I have been a long time fan of bareMinerals makeup. And this is one of my favorite blushes by them. (I also have balm that can be dipped into any of the mineral products and used as lipcolor). This is just a soft warm color. Long lasting, easily applied and blended.

NARS in Orgasim.
Gives you a nice natural glowing look. It brightens my face, and is just a great color/blush!

Smashbox in Paradise.
I love the color peach and Smashbox hit this out of the park. It has a golden shimmer to it, but isn't overdone. It is build-able, easy to apply and again lasts the day. I apply with a light hand to give my cheeks the perfect peachy glow.

So there we have it! Do you own any of these blushes? What would be your favorite blush?

Thank you so much for stopping by!

NOTW (Nails of the week)

Hello Beauties!

As most of  you may know, I have an addiction to nail polish. It is just the perfect little way to add color, and express moods and add to any outfit.

I change my polish at least twice a week sometimes more. And wanted to share with you all the colors I have used in the past few days!

Started off the week with this gorgeous red by Essie, that I received from Miss Hello Niki

She's Pampered is a creamy vibrant red, I reached desired opaqueness witih two coats. I used The Colours of the Capitol, Luxe and Lush by China Glaze on the accent and thumb nails.

I switched over to this beautiful green color by China Glaze. Green is the go to color of the season, and I couldn't be happier about it!
Four Leaf Clover. This is a creamy bright, cheerful green. It covers nicely with one coat, but for above photo I used two.

Finally, I am currently wearing this look.

These are among my favorite polishes in my collection. On the accent nail I am wearing China Glaze Stone Cold from The Colours of the Capitol Collection. It is a matte blacky grey color that looks like its name...stone.  And my faveorite purple, Lilacism by Essie. This is a milky creme pale purple. It glides on easily and covers in one coat.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Miracle 7: My Experience.

Hello Beauties! I hope everyone had a Happy New Year!

I have been wanting to try out the Miracle 7 products for a while now, but always end up putting it off for one reason or another. But back in the first of December, that all changed.

One of the perks of being employed at a beauty store, you get free products, whether it be a new product or a promotional item. Well in December, we were given a new product from the Miracle 7 line. It was the Miracle 7 Leave-In mist for Extensions.

What they claim this product does is,
  • Aids in blending of extensions to natural hair
  • Protects against UV damage and color fading
  • Silicone free and weightless formula
  • Moisturizes extensions to improve manageablility, elasticity
  • Helps reduce static electricity, frizz and tangling
  • enhances shine without build up.

I do have and often wear my clip-in extension, so I thought great! I have kind of neglected them, and knew they would be a perfect candidate to try this out! (I just wish I took before and after pictures.) I have to say, it worked really well. All tangles came out easily, the shine is back, feels really soft and it looks like a new set of hair. So, I am very pleased with this product. The smell is a little synthetic, but it isn't a bad smell. Kind of like cherries. It is currently on sale at Sally's for $10.99.

The next Miracle 7 item is their Color Protect Shampoo that I purchased.

It smells wonderful first off. It really leaves my hair feeling clean and stripped of all that build up from styling products. I love this stuff!

What it says it does:
  • Adds moisture and balance
  • Restores hair vitality
  • Prolongs hair color
  • Creates shine
I would say it does all of that! It runs $13.99 for a 10 oz bottle.

Lastly, I purchased the Miracle 7 Leave-In Mist.

I bought this over the conditioner, because I find I use a tad to much, and conditioner always seems to make my hair feel weighed down. Again, I love this product! No joke. Smells like the shampoo, very clean and fresh.

What it says it does:
  • Repairs dry damaged hair
  • Seals and protects color
  • Stops hair breakage
  • Prevents split ends
  • Controls frizz
  • Adds shine
  • Detangles
Now, without a conditioner, my hair tends to be matted and almost impossible to get a brush or comb through, but with a few squirts (and a little does go a long way), it feels luxurious, super soft, with no tangles. I am sold on this brand. And wish I would have purchased these sooner.  My hair has literally never felt or looked this good in years. And did I mention how great this and the shampoo smell?! haha  It is also $13.99 for 5 oz. But, as I said before a little goes a long way, so it will last you a good while.

If you have ever used any of the Miracle 7 products, please share with me your thoughts and experiences with it.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
